The Stitchers for Grace are in the process of doing behind the scenes work before beginning the actual stitching on the altar kneelers. 

The canvas has been purchased, the edges of the canvas has been finished , the actual pictures have been drawn, the colors for the needle point pictures has been chosen using the stained glassed windows in the church, the stitching frames are ready to go. 

Now comes the painting of each canvas and then the yarn will be matched to each paint color.  The painted canvas will be presented to the congregation during a worship service.  The hands of the Stitchers and the painted canvas will be blessed before the actual stitching begins.
