Service Teams

 
 
To accomplish our mission and to enjoy a balanced and well-planned set of worship, spiritual and social activities, we have organized our efforts into specific service teams.  The Mission Council will ask for volunteers from members of the congregation to serve on these teams, based on the talents and interests expressed by each member and the work needing to be done. 
 

The Mission Council will periodically evaluate the continued work and success of each team, giving advice and direction as needed.  The individual teams, and the persons serving on each team, may change from time to time, as our mission focus and needs change.  The Mission Council will appoint a Team Leader for each team.
 

Structure:
 

Initial and Ongoing Tasks for each Team:

  1. Review key responsibilities and prioritize
  2. Select persons for lead positions by responsibilities
  3. Create a list of specific tasks and actions to achieve success and how that success will be measured
  4. Identify any specific budget needs for completion
  5. Submit working plan to the Mission Council for approval
  6. Give a monthly report to the Mission Council on progress of efforts.
  7. Provide an end-of-year evaluation of the Team’s work and how it supports and furthers Grace's strategic plan.
